SCREEN INFORMATION
The shade base is made with new metal bronze screening material, which was used on screened porches, a long time ago. It will never rust or corrode, but it will age into a warm tony bronze color.
TRIM INFORMATION
The vertical ribs and top and bottom wiring are wrapped with black cotton rayon grosgrain ribbon.
USES
This shade can be used on a sconce lamp, a chandelier, or a small table lamp. I see this type of shade in a restaurant, a contemporary home, or just anywhere you need simple, but beautiful and warm, clean light. An Edison bulb makes this screen glow.
COMMENTS
I have yet to see another shade like this. Fantastic, simple, and versatile light. Bright, but not eye killing. Please see other sections in my shop for a large selection of handmade lampshades, finials, and lamps with custom shades. All hidden wiring is coated with enamel paint to ensure shade longevity.
